The Tarawera Ultra is almost here and CurraNZ is getting ready to paint Rotorua purple again - with our best ever deals of the year (think Black Friday on steroids) and a strong crew of CurraNz-fuelled athletes on course.
Before the race weekend kicks off, we're proud to be supporting Born To Adapt in the Redwoods on Saturday 7 February - a free, inclusive trail event that welcomes amputees, people with limb difference and anyone with a disability, along with their friends and whanau.
Born To Adapt first launched in Rotorua in 2024 through a partnership between Peke Waihanga's peer support, events coordinator Matthew Bryson and US-based race diretor Zachary Friedley (above, left), and it continues to grow as a celebration of accessible, empowering trail running.
A few days later, the big show begins as runners check in for the Tarawera Ultra by UTMB, New Zealand's premier ultra-trail event, and CurraNZ will be there with our tent, our team and plenty of purple energy.
If you're a loyal customer racing Tarawera and would like to be part of Team CurraNZ on the day, get in touch - we'll have CurraNZ kit and free product for our crew.
