Supporting local - the Running Beast visits the Monday Underground Run Club

CurraNZ is becoming known in running communities across New Zealand and we’ve had the pleasure of getting along to the weekly ‘Monday Underground’ event at Northcote Tavern, Northcote Point Auckland, which regularly attracts 180+ runners.

With the legend of the CurraNZ ‘Running Beast’ growing with our brand, the big purple T-Rex has been well received there, once they realised he was there to encourage - and not attack the runners on their return from their 5km loop.

Congrats to the Monday Underground team, who have created a terrific community around the event, which has been going for over 20 years and has produced Loes Ather, who has celebrated a milestone of running daily for 365 days.  

CurraNZ has been donating sample packs as weekly spot prizes – if you fancy checking it out, head on down and join in their fun sessions and vibrant community, held every Monday spring til autumn, from 6pm. Walkers start at 6pm, the runners depart at 6:30 with prize giving starting after 7pm.
