Celebrating CurraNZ ambassadors' stellar early-season results

on April 12, 2024

The CurraNZ pro running ambassadors have started the Northern Hemisphere season with a bang.

New Zealand ‘ultra’ veteran Scotty Hawker - a regular on the UTMB circuit - opened his 2024 European race season with 6th at the Chianti Ultra Trail (104km), sailing home in 9 hours and 12mins on the fast trails.

Just two weeks later, he headed to Montemana in Italy, taking third in the 37km event, commenting: “The recovery benefits of CurraNZ between these races definitely helped.”

USA CurraNZ ambassador, Robyn Lesh, was also waving the flag for CurraNZ in Italy, taking the 23km win in the Montemana event.

Robyn, a familiar face on the New Zealand trail scene, had some great results this season with podium finishes at The Kepler and Tarawera Ultras.

Another Kiwi CurraNZ athlete, Jess Campbell, will be heading to Europe soon to compete in the Sky Running Challenge (which is the more technical (steep) discipline of trail and ultra running).

Jess had a great warm up run at the Northburn 100, placing runner-up in the 50km event.  Jess is one of our newest ambassadors after trialling CurraNZ last year she noticed her recovery between races was noticeably improved.
