Dawn Tuffery counts on CurraNZ for successful 24hr Champs title defence

Scott Cushman from CurraNZ recently met with Dawn Tuffery just before she lined up at the NZ 24hr Champs, where she was about to defend her national title.

It's hard to imagine someone running almost non-stop for 24hrs but there were a number of people lining up at the Millennium Institute of Sport to take on the challenge.  

Dawn has been a CurraNZ fan for a good 12 months and finds a number of benefits with our blackcurrant sports supplement 'My favourite thing about the product so far is actually how it helps my breathing. I’ve had a lifelong issue with a tight chest and they seem to ease it. I’m also excited to see it take on the significant challenge of the Monday DOMS'.

Exhausted but still smiling, Dawn  successfully defended her title, covering 191km during the 24hr race. 

Dawn's support crew consisted of good running friend Fiona Hayvice, herself an accomplished long distance runner.
