CurraNZ helps power Highlanders to Trans-Tasman final

Professional Super Rugby team the Highlanders, powered by our natural sports supplement, booked themselves a place in the final last Saturday after beating the ACT Brumbies on their home turf in Canberra last weekend 33-12. 

Although they were one of three New Zealand teams at the top of the table and equal on 23 points, the Highlanders and Blues pushed ahead of the Crusaders on the difference between points scored for and against. 

Neither the Blues nor Highlanders reached the finals in the Aotearoa Super Rugby final, where the Crusaders ultimately took out their second Aotearoa trophy ahead of the Chiefs. 

The ACT Brumbies finished best of the Australian teams in sixth place, their win over the Hurricanes equaling the Reds' effort of a win over the Chiefs, placing them equal on points but behind on points difference.

 

It was an exciting final however the Blues were ahead on points at the final whistle and won their first championship in 18 years. Congratulations Blues.
