Shannon-Leigh Litt, a lawyer from Kerikeri, has made history by setting a new world record for running 500 consecutive ultra-marathons — one every single day.
Yes, you read that right. For the past 500 days, Shannon has laced up her shoes and completed an ultra-distance run — and remarkably, she’s not stopping yet. Her eyes are set on pushing that number even higher, which certainly makes the mind boggle.
No stranger to endurance, Shannon has competed in over 100 ultra-marathon events and qualified for the World 100K Championships with a time under 8 hours 30 minutes.
But how does she keep going, day after day?
CurraNZ: Her Daily Edge for Immunity and Recovery
“I have used CurraNZ for a while now, including during my 500 ultra-marathon journey,” says Shannon. “I find them amazing for immunity support. I take CurraNZ every day, and I’ve found that I just don’t pick up bugs at all and they also aid my recovery.”
With no room for downtime or illness, CurraNZ has become a non-negotiable part of her daily routine.
“Because they help with immunity, they also help with recovery. When I take them, I feel confident that I’ll sleep well and wake up ready to run again, every single day. I back this product and would encourage anyone who finds themselves frequently sick or rundown in winter to try a supplement like CurraNZ alongside Vitamin C.”
“This is my personal experience,” she adds, “and I’ll continue to take CurraNZ as long as I’m running.”
We’re in awe of Shannon’s incredible dedication and achievement - and we’re honoured that CurraNZ plays a part in powering her extraordinary journey.
Whatever number she finishes on — 600, 800, or even more — one thing’s for sure: this Kiwi powerhouse is rewriting the record books.
